Hats For KnitWits

 I knit a couple hats this week.

Blue one. It's the one that started the hat thing for the week. I forget what I was in Coeur d'Alene for, but my daughter was with me. I'd finished my errand and asked her if there was anywhere she needed or wanted to go before we head for home, and she wanted to go to Michaels. Hadn't been there in ages. Of course, we headed for the yarn department first. I discovered Lion Brand Heartland yarn. I had to try a skein out so I got this beautiful medium blue. It's wonderful yarn! Soft and easy to knit with.

Yarn: KnitPicks Mighty Stitch
Content: 80% Acrylic/ 20% Superwash Wool, worsted weight
Color: White

Yarn: Red Heart Supersaver
Content: 100% Acrylic, worsted weight
Color: Navy

Needles: Circular size 7

Comments: Easy and fun knit. I'm loving the Heartland yarn. I did use a size larger needle because I wanted to make men's large so it's bigger than my little Styrofoam head mannequin.

It's not too big though. It fits my big head just fine. 

Here is the crown. Nothing fancy.

After I finished the blue hat, I wanted to make another one, so I found some dark red in the KnitWits yarn stash.
