WIP Wednesday 4/13/2022

I need to post more often. My blog is monetized with Amazon. Has been for years. It's invisible so it doesn't bother my readers. I don't make much, but usually I earn about $300 in gift certificates per year, but last year was a mere $36. I'm going to work to post more often.  So much of what I used to post about moose and deer and whatnot is no longer available because we fenced our yard to keep my dog safe. We still get moose and deer and whatnot, but by the time I get my camera and get outside to take pictures, Zoey has barked them away. I need to figure out something about that.

Well, it's WIP Wednesday, so how about some WIPs.

This is where I'm at on the cardigan for Piper, the nephews new daughter. I absolutely love the colors together.

I bet I can finish the back before the end of the week, if I put my mind to it.

This is a childrens size Norwegian mitten waiting for a thumb. I started it last Wednesday at the KnitWits meeting because I needed to be working on something for KnitWits while at the meeting. It's a fairly new rule. I haven't decided on the next layette set yet, so mittens it is.

Look what showed up last Monday. It's going to be a very cold week. Hopefully no more of this though.

We got an inch of the nasty cold stuff. I hope it doesn't damage the flower buds on my trees.

They were saying we were going to have an honest-to-god blizzard today. Thankfully, that storm moved south and is missing us completely. The cold is still here though. Nice and sunny out, but in the 30's.

Thought I would share this.

I found this little package of fingering weight acrylic yarn on Amazon. It's surprisingly nice yarn too. I need this for making Keps. I want to make them for KnitWits, but it has to be machine washable yarn, preferably acrylic. I can use sock yarn, but I don't really have enough little bits of leftovers to do keps. This will do nicely.

Until next time...

Live long and prosper. \\//
