The Knitting Year in Review

At the end of each year I usually like to go back and see just how much I've knitted. I usually think to myself that I didn't get much done because I tend to give it all away so there's nothing visible to remind me I made it. This year I decided to make an actual photo collage of all my 2010 finished knitting and post it. I'm quite surprised at the results.

The tally:
9 pairs of fingerless mitts
3 pairs of socks
2 adult size sweaters
2 shrugs
1 pair childs mittens
1 baby sweater
1 shawl
1 Nook cover
1 scarf
1 hat

I have a grand total of 22 items. I'm most proud of the fact that I finished two adult sweaters-which is twice as much as my goal had been. All in all it's been a productive year.

This year I want to make at least one sweater for myself. Maybe two. And I want to finish at least one of the projects I've got hibernating. Just haven't figured out which one yet. Still thinking about that unfinished Alice Starmore sweater. I need to get back to that book I was writing too.

In beading I didn't make quite as much. But I did learn some new skills. I especially enjoyed the French online class I took. I will continue to learn more as this new year progresses.

What knitting or beading goals are you making for this year?
