February Lady in Teal

I do not like taking pics of larger knitted items at this time of year. All my favorite places for photographing are covered in snow and ice. I'm terrible at indoor photography. This is the best I can do, so it will have to do.

The teal cardigan is done.

I am so pleased with how it's turned out. If it weren't being given away as a gift I'd enter it in the fair, it turned out that perfect. Not one mistake in it.

I love the pattern. I'm even thinking about knitting one of these for me. If I were to do it again, I would replace the row of yarn overs with a row of Make 1's because the little holes bug me. I keep wanting to weave a strand of ribbon through them. I think I've knit one too many baby sweaters in my life. However, this pattern is based on a baby pattern, now that I think about it. Hmm....

Live long and prosper.

  1. That turned out wonderful, beautiful. You're giving it away? I'll go stand by my mailbox and wait. LOL

Really, this makes me want to make one and I've not been that interested in this pattern before.

  2. OMG!!! Your new blog look is totally stunning. Love it! Love it!

The February Lady sweater looks great. I made one for my sister a few years ago and felt the same way about the holes. Had to convince myself they were OK.
