Comments: I wanted to do something different, so I thought of a color block sweater. I'm happy with how it turned out. I found some really cute buttons in my stash. Fortunately, I had five of them.

Comment: Now you can see why the daisy buttons. The shell edging is a little different from the one I've usually used. I like this one much better, but it uses up more yarn. Almost twice as much. I found myself playing Yarn Chicken.
Yarn Chicken is when you keep working on a project even though it looks like you may not have enough yarn to finish it. It doesn't happen to me very often, thankfully, cuz it's a real anxiety producing game. I was about halfway around the blanket when I looked at the quickly shrinking ball of yarn and thought I didn't have enough, so I started pulling it out, thinking I'd use one of the other colors because I had more yarn left of them. And then I thought, no, there's enough, and I crocheted back on what I'd ripped out and continued. One thing about Yarn Chicken that is so weird is the closer you get to the end, the faster you go. By the time I got near the end I was going like crazy, and I made it to the end. What a relief! I was actually covered in sweat. Sheesh! Here's what I have left. Just a little over a yard.
I'm happy I won. I'm happy with this set. Now on to the next one.
